Join the AGMC family!
Come sing with a diverse community of LGBTQIA+ performers
who are trying to impact the society around them through music and love.
We sing in the time-honored TTBB (Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass) tradition.
Sing with us or volunteer your skills to the administration of the chorus.
The Albany Gay Men's Chorus is seeking a non-singing member for our Board of Directors.
AGMC Board of Directors make a financial contribution of $100 per season to the chorus.
That obligation can be fulfilled by doing a birthday fundraiser on Facebook.
It can also be fulfilled by donating needed items to the chorus or purchasing new music.
Directors also help recruit sponsors as part of supporting chorus sustainability.
Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings
and foster a welcoming environment that supports our diverse membership and audience.

Let the River Run
Come to a rehearsal and hear us sing and watch us work.
WANT TO SING?
There is no audition. Our Artistic Director will conduct a musical exercise to determine whether you are a 1st Tenor, 2nd Tenor Baritone or Bass.
There is a one-time, refundable music deposit. Our season is from August to June, divided into two semesters: spring and winter. Members pay dues each semester.
Each member is given an AGMC logo polo shirt for the spring concert. Members are required to acquire a tuxedo for the winter concert. For first time members the winter semester dues are waived.

WANT TO HELP?
You can join our 5th Section.
They are the backbone of the chorus.
They volunteer to work front of the house for our events: usher, ticket sales, ticket check in, selling raffle tickets, etc.
5th Sections members are given a AGMC logo polo shirt to wear at all events.
If you have technical skills, we would love to have you assist the chorus with administrative duties.
If you would like to help AGMC deliver a quality experience to all of our audience members we would love to have you.
